According to Fox News, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has introduced Jarvis, his new personal artificial intelligence assistant on Tuesday, Dec. 20. It is a cyber assistant that is set to manage his home in Silicon Valley. Jarvis is set as a digital butler that can do everything. It includes controlling room lights, opening the front gate, making a toast, choosing daily outfits, playing music, and entertaining Zuckerberg’s daughter Max.
As soon as the Zuckerberg’s plans in building a robot came out early this year, there have been numerous voiceover suggestions. It includes Arnold Schwarzenegger, Benedict Cumberbatch, Robert Downey Jr., and Neil deGrasse Tyson.
It was Marvel’s Tony’s “Iron Man” Stark that has inspired Mark Zuckerberg’s new cyber assistant. With this, Iron Man Robert Downey Jr. volunteered to voice Jarvis. However, he did not win the popular vote.
In October, Morgan Freeman was suggested to voice over the Jarvis cyber assistant. He is America’s sexiest voice and has been the voice of God, driving instructions and narrator the journey of penguins. He has acquired overwhelming votes with nearly 10,000 likes and hundreds of replies.
With this, Mark Zuckerberg revealed in an interview with Fast Company that he called Morgan Freeman to ask him to voiceover Jarvis cyber assistant. The actor has agreed to lend his voice and he is now the voice of Jarvis AI assistant.
Morgan Freeman will record only a limited set of commands for Jarvis cyber assistant. However, it remains unknown how much would Mark Zuckerberg pay Freeman for his participation in the project.<%2
